July 2020 – Chesil Beach (Night shore dive)

Report and photos by Steve Burgess

Paul and I decided to do a night dive at Chesil Beach.  It’s a completely different dive to daytime. So much life comes into the sand flats at night. Undulate Rays were our target and we saw two in a short space of time.

Well worth doing but would advise anyone going to familiarise yourself with the place in the day. We are constantly told you don’t get current, but on that dive we got pushed down a fair way so take nothing for granted.
