Well things seem to be hotting up on the dive front! We actually had some viz last Saturday and Guildford BSAC reported 2-3m and plenty of light on the Shirala, we have already passed the half way stage in the year so let’s get in the water!
Training Matters
Ocean Diver
Steve and Jordan are getting close to completing their ocean diver – well done!
Kieran has completed Wraysbury and is ready to jump in the sea.
Charli, Sam and JJ are ready for Wraysbury
Olivia is working toward completing pool sessions
Finlay has relocated and will probably continue his training with the Royal Navy.
Sports Diver
Mark Swan has completed his Sports Diver – well done! He has shown considerable tenacity in organizing training and dives himself and I am pleased his enthusiasm has been rewarded!
Dive Leader
Dani is forging ahead and is training with George on the theory and practical elements and also arranged some sessions including her PRM course with the London University Branch.
Vobster Training Day
I am looking at a day at Vobster to carry out practical training for all levels – propose week-end of 12-13th July? Doodle to follow.

Try Dives
George and Anya completed their try dive on Tuesday but as they live in Bromley have suggested they join their local BS-AC branch.
We have three evenings arranged with Raven Trust Youth Group on 29th July/5th August/12th August – all help gratefully received!
Diving Activities
Statler and Waldorf (Norm and Alan!) are currently enjoying the diving around the nudist colonies of the Canaries
Mark and Charles are off on a sea life identification course in Swanage – watch out for the killer nudibranchs!
Week-end of 28/29th June presents some opportunities but is springy – Any offers to manage a dive?
Week-end of 5/6th July looks good for tidal diamonds B&C – Any offers to manage a dive?
