20 April 2019 – Weymouth

Report by Mark Swan

I had a day out with Old Harbour Diving Company who operate out of Weymouth. Their hardboat Xtreme, is skippered by Nigel and is moored close to the dive shop where you can get air/nitrox fills and spares. Seven of us took advantage of the good conditions and headed out to the M2.

M2 dive details: Max depth 31m, Time 40 mins, Gas 32%, Vis 2m, Water temp 10’C

After some hot pasties provided by Nigel, we headed back and had our 2nd dive on The Countess Of Erne. This site was chosen as they had the resident harbour dolphin join them the day before. Unfortunately he didn’t show up but the harbour vis was better than we had on the M2.

Countess Of Erne dive details: Max depth 14m, Time 45 mins, Gas 32%, Vis 4m, Water temp 10’C

Enjoyable day out, and a good friendly outfit to dive with.
