We were again asked by the Rutlish School CCF to give some of their members an opportunity to have a go with scuba kit so we arranged 2 sessions for them on the evenings of 23rd and 30th January 2017 at Cheam Pool.
Ten cadets, one Dad, and their leader all enjoyed the sessions. After the try dive, each cadet was presented with a BSAC Try Dive pack containing a dvd about scuba diving in the UK, a personalised certificate of achievement, and a copy of the BSAC Introduction to Scuba Diving booklet.
Thanks to all our club instructors who contributed their time to making these try dives a success, and to those who sorted kit, put kit together and then cleared up afterwards. Appreciation was expressed by the leader Bob, and the parents who watched the events. The last thing Bob said was ‘Same time, same place, next year??’
