This month has been a good one for Andrew & Jenny beachcombing. A walk on Climping beach found us coming home with a new bucket (that Andrew rescued from the sea edge) and a bright yellow buoy which Jenny found washed up on the shingle (we also salvaged a child’s plastic spade!). A week later we saw a white buoy floating up the river – and what did we find when we walked up the river to Ford later in the day – yes the white buoy right on the edge so that Andrew could fairly easily climb down and recover it. These have been added to the pink buoy we found last year so there is a selection for when we lose the shot!! Andrew suggests going back to recover the weight on the Ore wreck and we would then have the makings of a spare shot.
