Another diving year has begun with a flurry of activity unusual in the cold winter months!
NO POOL SESSION ON TUESDAY 14TH JANUARY 2014
Training Matters
- First Defib and CPR refresher took place on the 7th January with the next scheduled on 14th January. Thanks to Alan for running these and to all club members that have shown such enthusiastic support.
- We have some new members starting training as below, please extend our customary welcome and assist where possible.

- There are 4 people scheduled for try dives – date to be agreed but all offers of help appreciated.
Training Records
As we are moving over to an internet based system for ease of reference for the instructing team I would like the chance to have a chat to each member over the next few weeks and update the record and to discuss individual ongoing training requirements.
Equipment Update
- Kit audit has now taken place, Tim will update the list.
- Compressor has arrived! Tim is in the process of commissioning it ready to fill the club cylinders.
- There are some out of test 10l dumpy and 12l tall for sale, they are in good external condition and should pass, please contact Tim if of interest
- Boat – batteries have been checked and it has been decided to keep them for another year. New VHF will be purchased shortly. Plan is to have a work party on the boat before the end of February.

It is a club requirement that before going out on the boat each season every member has a dive in the pool to check equipment and refresh skills.
