About BUDC

At present the club has about 30 diving members.  in-the-pool-300x225We welcome qualified divers from any diving organisation, who wish to dive regularly in the UK with like-minded divers, as well as new members who wish to learn to dive.

We meet every Monday at Cheam Leisure Centre where we have use of the pool from 9-10 pm.  We also have adhoc social events when we arrange talks and training or meals out together. (See contact page for maps)

We run ‘Try Dives’ on Monday evenings for those who aren’t sure if they will enjoy diving, or just want to see what it’s like.  This gives the opportunity to ‘have a go’ using scuba equipment and see what it’s all about, at a very reasonable price of £20.

We run a number of Skill Development Course (SDCs) in house and also attend external SDCs run by BSAC.  One of the joys of being part of a club is being able to spend time diving (and socialising) with friends on club dives, weekends and holidays.  Take a look at our dive diary and reports pages and you will see what we’ve been up to recently.

new boatThe club has its own RIB which is kept at Littlehampton Marina and we go out most weekends between Easter and end of October, weather permitting.  Hardy souls can dive all year round!!

We also visit the various Dive exhibitions.

For more information about the club, joining or training, then take a look around our website or send us an email from the contact page.
