The promise of underwater
caves and tunnels was almost enough to make even hardened wreckies sit
up and listen!
"Swim
at 15m with the wall on your right" we were told. "You can't
miss the entrance". Sure enough the large tunnel entrance soon
loomed and we swam in. As the light behind faded a faint glow appeared
ahead and eventually we emerged out the other end. After exploring
a bit we retraced our steps but turned and explored a much smaller side
tunnel for a while before finally exiting back into the bay with the
intention if swimming to a second cave further along.
However, a sudden loss of
buoyancy control by Jenny saw us back on the surface rather quicker and
more unexpectedly than planned so that we had to wait for next time.
Nevertheless a great dive.
