9 June 2020 – Selsey (shore dive)

Report and photos by Steve Burgess

We had a 3pm high tide for Selsey so Paul and myself went to Selsey for an evening splash. You have to dive this place 3hrs after HW. So we go in at 6PM as boats showed little current moving.
Loads of life around made it a great dive.
We found a Cat Shark sleeping area and this was amazing to watch them all there. Easy 20+ sharks scattered around rock and pipework.
Dive time was 1hr + mins so we had to get back as tide will ebb soon. Got back to shore ok with total dive time 1hr 14mins of fabulous diving. Vis was 8+ meters .
Fish and chips on the front as we watch the sun set on a calm blue sea. 10/10
