As the tides were not good for diving again, the opportunity was taken for Dave, Kirsten, Malcolm, Sue and Jenny to complete the practical part of their Chartwork & Position Fixing qualification.
So, under the watchful eyes of Andrew, we wondered if we could actually get to the places that we had marked up on our voyage plans. (Elliott came out for the ride and experience the rib prior to doing his first openwater dives at sea shortly). It was a good day, with lots being learned about the practicality of actually being able to use transits that had been noted on the charts, and use of the gps.
