Dive 1,  Max depth 32m, Time 45 mins

Dive 2, Max depth 24m, Time 50 mins

Last dive of 2018 at Vobster with Mark, Steve, Don & Jenny

This was my first dive since coming back from the Red Sea so it was going to be tough!

I was quite surprised when I first jumped in at the main quayside entry point as the visibility was fantastic, around 15m. Water temperature was around 8 degrees so the heated vest came in handy!

Don suggested using foot warmers on the second dive. He kindly gave us all a pair of them, toasty!

The second dive over to the eastern end of the lake was much different to the first dive. Visibility was less at 8m. We probably got a bit spoilt by the first dive and expectations made the vis seem worse than what it was.

Overall a great day out, keeping the cobwebs off the diving gear!

I can recommend The Cornerhouse pub/hotel in Frome for B and B.

Happy New Year and see you all in 2019
